Creel is a tourist town nestled high in the Sierra Madre Occidental. The town was founded on May 26, 1907 in what was a Tarahumaran ranch known as Nariachi, and is an important stop of the Chepe train route in the Copper Canyon. Creel has been declared the Magic Town of Mexico because it is in a naturally beautiful areas. In the surroundings there are tourist attractions such as the Basaseachi waterfall, the Cusárare waterfall and the Arareko lake. In addition, tourists have the opportunity to witness closely the life of the Tarahumaras. Some of which continue to live in caves. In Creel you can go for walks in the surroundings, horseback riding, bike or motorcycle rides and visit the town to buy handicrafts.
Creel is a town that was founded in May 1907 in a Tarahumara ranch called Nariachi. Creel is an important tourist town because it is part of the Chepe train route through the Copper Canyon and its proximity to several tourist attractions. Todo estuvo bien. Todo a tiempo. Es difícil viajar en época de covid. Sobre todo en la transportación y comedores no se respetaron protocolos. Tuvimos un pequeño problema en parque aventura por la hora. Creo que nos pudieron haber orientado mejor y así evitar el problema. En general fue un buen viaje.
El viaje fue maravilloso. Muy bien planeado. Todo a tiempo. Los proveedores de servicio de transporte muy buenos, educados y a tiempo. El único problema que tuvimos fue con la limpieza en la habitación del Ramada Encoré pero nos cambiaron de habitación enseguida y nos dieron una mejor y nos dejaron unas botellas de vino en la habitación El itinerario es espectacular y muy bien pensado. Recomiendo que en Divisadero también incluyan la cascada como parte del tour. Nosotras también tomamos la cata de vinos en el Hotel Mirador que es un espectáculo. Respecto del Chepe, mi recomendación es ir en Clase Ejecutiva o Primera para tener opción de comer en el restaurante Urike y acceso a la terraza. En la terraza te abren las ventanas y puedes ver los más maravillosos paisajes y tomar cientos de fotos.El Hotel la Quinta Misión en Creel muy lindo y las habitaciones son enormes con todo. La atención muy buena El Hotel Mirador en Divisadero es una belleza con todas las habitaciones con vista a las Barrancas. Si pueden hacer un upgrade a una suite se los recomiendo porque les dan las habitaciones con las terrazas más grandes y tienen acceso a wifi si necesitan conectarse con su trabajo. El Hotel Posada Hidalgo en El Fuerte es otro hotel bello y pintoresco digno de conocer. Lo único que recomiendo es que en El Fuerte se queden por lo menos 2 noches antes de regresar a casa porque hay muchos otros lugares que descubrir. En general un viaje mágico que recomiendo hacer a todos algún momento de sus vidas.
Viajar por El Chepe es una experiencia que debe hacerse al menos una vez en la vida. Hoteleus me ayudó muchísimo a concretar todos los detalles del viaje y a acomodar la experiencia en función de los requerimientos de la pandemia.

En general todo muy bien. Solo en el último hospedaje Hotel posada el Hidalgo me pareció muy mala la atención, todo muy caro, la atención en el restaurante muy tardado y las habitaciones olían mal, con mucha humedad. El resto del viaje estuvo excelente y el trato de la gente maravilloso.
Me gusto mucho la atención y el tiempo dedicado al viaje, y que fuera de Chihuahua a los Mochis, creo en ese orden es mucho mejor

ESTA HA SIDO UNA EXPERIENCIA QUE RECOMIENDO AMPLIAMENTE SIN NINGUNA RESERVA.
The trip was really nice! Also, Priscila was very helpful, and took a real interest in making sure everything worked out well for us. In terms of suggestions to make it even better, here are a few thoughts:
1) When we went to the Mision Hotel in Cerocahui, I was a bit disappointed that we didn’t get to speak to any of the Tarahumara girls and/or teachers at the school. (I was also disappointed, a couple of days earlier, when we didn’t get to stop and talk with children and/or teachers at the public boarding school for Tarahumara children that we passed.) At Cerocahui, it had been raining for a day, and continued raining when we were there. We drove to Urique for the view, but the visibility was only about 30 meters. Under those circumstances, the whole plan for staying at the Mision Hotel didn’t seem to make much sense. Perhaps, instead, there could be an extra day at Hotel Mirador.
2) Some travelers are of a religion other than Catholic, and some travelers may be atheists. For such travelers, I think a visit to a public Tarahumara school would be preferable to a Catholic school.
3) In the English version of the itinerary, sometimes it isn’t clear whom we should look for, when there is a trip at a particular time to the train, or for a trip to another hotel, or to wherever. Maybe you can include a brief of whom we should ask for: Hoteleus, Balderrama, or whomever.
4) This is not very important, but there are some English errors in the English versions of the itinerary. If you like, after we get back home, I can send you some corrections.
Todo muy bonito, los guías muy amables dispuestos a ayudar en todo momento, vehículos en muy buen estado, fue una experiencia muy bonita, Muchas gracias por todo.
El viaje superó nuestras expectativas. Tengo que agradecer especialmente a la srita Laura Sánchez que siempre estuvo disponible y dispuesta a ayudar y aclarar cualquier duda que surgiera.
Mención aparte merecen los guías de las excursiones. Resultamos gratamente sorprendidas de que todos nuestros tours fueran privados y de la alta calidad de nuestros guías. Desde Gabriel que nos recogió en Chihuahua hasta el último chico que nos llevó al aeropuerto de Los Mochis. Tengo que destacar al sr. Baltazar que nos transmitió su amor y conocimientos por Creel y sus alrededores. Y también a Alonso de el hotel Misión Cerocahui, una verdadera joya. Cuando creímos que no nos podía tocar nadie mejor llegó Alonso y nos dejó enamoradas de las bellezas del lugar.
Les felicito por su calidad. Sin ninguna duda los recomendaré a quien desee viajar a tan espectacular destino. De hecho, ya los he recomendado a varias personas 😉
El itinerario bien planeado para visitar y conocerr los lugares más bellos y emblemáticos de la Sierra Tarahumara.. La atención recibida por los proveedores en cada destino fue muy muy buena.
