During this day of your vacation to Costa Rica, you'll have the opportunity to experience two exciting tours (not included in the price):
Tour 1 - Kekoldi Indigenous Reserve: This tour will take you to visit a small indigenous family dedicated to the reproduction of the Green Iguana, a species that was on the verge of extinction but now thanks to initiatives like these, it still exists. You'll also visit the cocoa house where an indigenous woman will teach you how they produce chocolate and you'll be able to taste different flavors while learning about the cultural importance of cocoa in the Bribri community. The third stop is a visit to a farm to see medicinal plants before concluding with a refreshing dip in a waterfall and a small fruit-based snack. The tour ends with a visit to a typical restaurant in the area.
Tour 2 - Puerto Viejo by Bike: On this tour, you'll enjoy the wonders of Puerto Viejo de Limón while riding a bike and feeling the Caribbean breeze. Your guide will take you to different emblematic sites in the area, each with colorful structures and cultural significance. You'll also get to taste typical sandwiches from the area and perhaps even spot a sloth or other species of the abundant fauna in the area. The tour concludes with a delicious typical lunch from the Costa Rican Caribbean. This is a great way to immerse yourself in the daily life of the locals and explore the beautiful landscapes of the region during your Costa Rica vacation.
This hotel will leave you with a good souvenir of your vacation to Costa Rica, the Namuwoki Hotel located in Playa Chiquita.
