We enjoyed the experience and the only thing that would have made it better to know in advance about the no-see-ums in El Fuerte…we could have used some bug repellant in the evening.

The Hotels were all great. We would have liked a refridgerator, coffee maker, and microwave in the room in Los Mochis. The service was great and the breakfasts wonderful. Also a slip free mat would be helpful in showers with tile floors. El Chepe train and copper canyon was a wortwhile adventure. Some seats do not offer a full view of the scenery being behind a solid part of the window eg. 3c 3d. Thr train transits were ok, but drivers should be aware of the customer disabilitys before asking to

The trip was a whirlwind of experiences - good and bad. All the hotels were charming, staff was helpful but lacking English almost everywhere. . ( no one told us there was a time change between states so we missed part of the mission/school/wine tour.) We enjoyed the adventure park. The drinks at all the hotels were outrageously priced. The Zorro show was pathetic in el Fuerte. The announcements on the train were not clear, lots of static and often inaudible due to noise levels. Time of tour in el Fuerte conflicted with Tequila tasting at the hotel and we were only there one night. We had to ask for alternative meals at the Hotel Mirador, a person cannot eat chicken at every meal! We did not like having to pay for internet which was insecure and didn't work a lot of the time. This is not a tour for a person who does not speak Spanish.”

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your Copper Canyon experience. We’re very glad to hear that the service during your trip — especially the handling of luggage — was excellent. Your feedback about the varying levels of English and information provided at the hotel receptions is appreciated and will be shared with our local partners to help improve communication for future travelers. However, it seems there may have been a bit of confusion with your rating. This review was meant to evaluate the service provided by your Hoteleus travel agent — the person who helped you plan and coordinate your journey. If you were satisfied with their assistance before and during the booking process, we would greatly appreciate it if you could update your rating to reflect that part of the experience. At Hoteleus, our mission is to connect you with talented Travel Designers who make planning a trip as seamless and enjoyable as the journey itself. Your feedback helps us grow and serve travelers better every day.
