6-Day San Diego Travel Itinerary for Families
Travel Designer Review:
Today I am going to invite you to experience the nature of the California coast in Torrey Pines State Reserve. In this mountain we can hike through some cliffs that have incredible views of the sea.
There are several trails that you can go up, and you can also go down to the sea and walk on the coast.
Depending on your physical condition, it will take you from 2 to 4 hours to do the walk.
It is recommended to wear suitable shoes, drink water, and take an energy bar.

Catania Restaurant is one of the best in La Jolla and probably in all of San Diego. The food is simply delicious!
The menu does not have too many dishes (as it should be in good restaurants), some options of starters, salads, pastas, pizzas and desserts. Although it is located in one of the most exclusive areas of San Diego, the prices are quite reasonable.

Without a doubt, La Jolla is one of the most exclusive and beautiful areas in all of San Diego and all of California. I recommend taking an afternoon walk in this area along Girad Avenue to visit some of the shops.
As the sun begins to go down, head up the coast to La Jolla Cove to watch the sea seals and the sunset.
If you are an art lover, there is the option of visiting the San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art.
You can also take off your shoes to feel the sand and take a walk along the coast.

The following suggested activities and notes are not included in the reservation of this itinerary. The Travel Designer included them so that you can optionally do them on your own during your trip.
San Diego is one of the most fun and interesting cities in the United States. In San Diego you can have fun at SeaWorld and see whales. Also visit the biggest zoo in the world and take the little ones with your family to Legoland.
The hotels suggested in this itinerary are of superior category and have excellent reviews. They are primarily found in the Gaslamp Quarter (https://www.gaslamp.org/) in the Heart of San Diego (they have a very reasonable price). Gaslamp Qurter is known as the Historic District of San Diego and is home to festivals and events throughout the year.
To get around San Diego it is highly recommended to rent a car because distances are very long. But if you want you can also use Uber.
