At mid-morning, the journey continues with a boat transfer back to the local dock. Upon arrival, ground transportation will be provided to the area of Guapiles, where lunch will be served.
Afterwards, you will collect your 4x4 vehicle, which will be yours for the next days.
The first destination is Naranjo, in the high mountains of the central volcanic range, specifically to the town of Llano de Bonito de Naranjo, here you will stay for two nights in a charming boutique hotel that stands out in architecture as its rooms are a tribute to the coffee shops that characterize this coffee region.
You will be given your rental car, which will be a Compact SUV 4WD MY, Ssang Yong Koronado or similar.
Remember that you have to meet the requirements to be able to rent a car in Costa Rica, which include having a minimum age of 25 years, being able to cover the guarantee deposit with a credit card and a valid driver's license.

This 11 nights’ tour package has been designed for those who want to discover some of the hidden treasures of Costa Rica: exuberant nature and the contrasts between landscapes and exotic beaches.
The adventure begins in one of the best natural destinations of Costa Rica, where you can appreciate biodiversity closely, at the Tortuguero rainforest. This area has remained untouched by man and it is one principal America’s turtle nesting spots.
Then, you will continue to Naranjo in your own 4x4, which sits in the Central Volcanic Mountain Range. This area acts as a biological corridor and it is an excellent spot for bird watching.
You will continue exploring the country towards to the northern lowlands where you will find two natural attractions: The Arenal Volcano and its impressive conic shape and the Celeste River with its magical waterfall (must-see places).
Finally, you will visit the beach area in the Costa Rican pacific that mixes lovely white sand beaches with jungle and rain forest full of wildlife.
