“We had excellent accommodations at every location, but we especially loved Posada del Hidalgo in El Fuerte, and a close second was Hotel Mirador in Posada Barrancas, with an amazing view. We enjoyed the tours, especially the road tour to Barrancas Gallego - our tour guide, Hugo Chavez, was great! - and the hike from Hotel Mirador into the canyon, with a Tarahumara guide, was very interesting. Our tour guide on Rio Fuerte, German Valdez, was very knowledgeable about the history and flora and fauna of the region. The train ride from El Fuerte to Bahuichivo was quite scenic, and it was fun having lunch on the train. At the Copper Canyon Adventure Village, we were not so very adventurous but we enjoyed the cable car ride. Throughout the tour, everything was handled smoothly and professionally, and we were treated with great courtesy and friendliness. Our agent, Jose Luis Valdez Grifaldo, was unfailingly helpful through a long series of e-mail questions. I have strongly recommended the tour and Hoteleus to my friends.”
